Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the Murlocs framework, official rotations, and how to get started.

What is a Murlocs rotation?
A Murlocs rotation is the combat logic the framework runs for your spec: what to cast next, when to cleave, when to spend cooldowns, and how to manage resources. Official Murlocs rotations are the ones we write and maintain. Other marketplace products are written by sellers on the same framework.
Is Murlocs a framework or a rotation pack?
Both. Murlocs is the framework. Official high-performance rotations ship on that same framework. Community products on the marketplace run on it too.
How do I get access?
Create an account and pick a plan on the marketplace. Official Murlocs rotations and community products are listed there. Support lives in Discord at discord.gg/murlocs.
How often do you update routines?
We update CRs when patches, tier sets, or balance changes affect rotation priorities. Major patches typically get updates the same day or within a short window. We post announcements and new files in Discord as we ship. Our homepage shows current coverage.
Can I request a new spec or suggest a change?
Yes. Use the request channels in Discord to ask for new specs, report issues, or suggest improvements. We prioritize based on demand and patch relevance. If a spec is listed as Not implemented on our homepage, it is not ready to run yet.
Are your CRs sim-accurate?
Yes — we build and validate priorities using SimulationCraft and theorycrafting sources, then tune against real combat logs and actual content. Every CR is tested in training dummies, Mythic+, and raid before shipping. We re-validate after major patches and tier changes.
Do the CRs work for both M+ and raiding?
Yes. Our routines handle both single-target (raid bosses) and multi-target (M+ packs) automatically. Community members have reported 90%+ parses in 8/8 heroic and cleared keys at the 12–14 level using our CRs. Healer specs are also tested for mythic raiding.
Is there a cost to use Murlocs?
The account is free. Access is sold as catalog plans, paid in Murlocs credits. Official rotations and community products are priced on the marketplace.
