Get up and running
How to enable Murlocs on Project Sylvanas and what combat routines actually are. New? Start with the quick-start steps below.
Quick start: enable Murlocs on Project Sylvanas
Follow these steps in order. When you're done, Murlocs will be active in-game.
- 1Create a Project Sylvanas account
Go to project-sylvanas.net and apply for an account. New users must go through their application system and wait for approval before continuing.
- 2Enable the Murlocs plugin
After logging in to your panel, find and enable the Murlocs plugin for your account.
- 3Download the loader
From the Project Sylvanas panel, download their loader executable.
- 4Log in and inject
Run the loader, log in with your Project Sylvanas credentials, and use it to inject the Murlocs plugin.
- 5Start the game
Launch the game client after injection (or as instructed in their docs). The loader will attach Murlocs to the running client.
- 6Play
Once everything is loaded, you're running Murlocs combat routines through Project Sylvanas. Join our Discord for spec-specific settings, help, and updates.
WoW Combat Routines — the basics
A combat routine (CR) is a set of logic that tells you which ability to use next in combat. The routine reads game state — your buffs, debuffs, resources, cooldown availability, and target count — and outputs a priority. Addons like Ovale and Hero Rotation display this as a suggested spell icon above your action bars.
Good CRs handle single-target and AoE priorities separately, knowing when to cleave, when to execute, and when to pool resources. They also encode cooldown usage — when to pop major CDs, trinkets, and spec-specific abilities — and adapt to current sims and theorycrafting so the suggestions stay accurate through patches and tier sets.
If you're new to CRs, install a supported addon, import a routine from our Discord, and do a few training-dummy pulls or normal dungeons. You'll quickly see how the suggestion changes with cooldowns, target count, and execute thresholds — then you'll have the foundation to understand and tweak any spec.
